the whirlwind

Five days.One brand.One website.Done.

A whole week of Windmill, pointed at your business and nothing else. Strategy, a brand that holds together, a website built from scratch, and a content bank — live and handed over by Friday.

one client at a time. a real website, built for you. no retainers. no templates. fixed price. live in five days.

why this exists

You don't need another retainer.

Most agencies sell you twelve months of maybe. A monthly invoice, a shared Slack channel, and a slow drip of work that never quite adds up to a finished thing. Meanwhile the website quote sits in another inbox with a six-week lead time on it.

The Whirlwind is the opposite. One week, one client, one fixed price — and at the end of it the whole package is real: a brand that holds together, a site that is live on your domain, and enough content to keep it fed.

how the week runs

Monday you're stuck. Friday you're live.

Every whirlwind runs the same shape. You get the schedule up front, so you know exactly where your week goes.

  1. 01

    Monday

    Dig in

A half-day together, in person or on a call. We pull the business apart — what you sell, who actually buys it, and what's quietly been getting in the way. We agree the site's shape and scope here, so nothing drifts later in the week.

    • Positioning in one sentence
    • The real audience, named
    • Site map and scope agreed
  2. 02

    Tuesday

    Tighten the brand

Logo, palette, and type get sorted out so your business stops looking like four different businesses. If what you've got works, we sharpen it rather than start again. This is what the site gets dressed in tomorrow.

    • Colour and type system
    • Logo cleaned or rebuilt
    • Social templates that match
  3. 03

    Wednesday

    Shoot the content

A full shooting day on location — venue, product, people, the lot. It feeds both jobs at once: the photos we take on Wednesday are the photos on your homepage on Friday, and the rest becomes your content bank.

    • Full-day shoot
    • Stills and short-form video
    • Hero images for the site
  4. 04

    Thursday

    Build the site

Your site gets built — designed for your business, not a theme with your logo dropped into it. Copy written for every page, yesterday's photographs placed, and the whole thing fast on a phone.

    • Custom build, no template
    • Every page written
    • Fast, and works on a phone
  5. 05

    Friday

    Launch and hand over

The site goes live on your domain. Then we sit down, walk through the whole lot, and you leave with the files, the logins, and the plan. Anything that needs explaining gets explained while I'm still in the room.

    • Site live on your domain
    • All source files, yours
    • Written 90-day plan

what's in the box

What you actually walk away with.

01

A website, custom built

02

A brand that holds up

Logo, colours, type, and templates — one system, documented, no guessing.

03

A content bank

A full day's shoot, edited. Stills and short-form, plus captions written in your voice and mapped across six weeks.

04

A 90-day plan

What to do after I leave, in plain English, ordered by what will move first.

05

Every source file

Working files, exports, site code, and logins. You own all of it outright — no hostage design, no locked platform.

Claim a whirlwind week

Whirlwinds run one at a time. Most months have two.

before you book

Be honest about this bit.

A whirlwind is for you if

  • You've got a business that already works and looks like it doesn't.
  • You need a site, a brand and content, and you'd rather not run three projects.
  • You can clear a week — really clear it, not half-clear it.
  • You want to own the work outright instead of renting it monthly.

Give it a miss if

  • You haven't launched yet and don't know what you sell.
  • You need a booking engine, a store, or a member login — that's a bigger build.
  • Sign-off runs through a committee that meets fortnightly.
  • You want someone to run your socials forever — that's a retainer, not a whirlwind.

claim a week

Book it.

Half now to lock the week in, half on handover Friday. Tell me what the business is and what needs fixing, and I'll come back with the next available weeks.

  • Deposit is refundable up to 14 days before your week
  • Rachael replies personally to agree the dates
  • Already had a discovery session? Its $299 comes off the total

the practical stuff

Fair questions.

How can you build a whole website in a week?

Because the hard parts are already done by Thursday. The decisions that normally stall a site build — what it says, who it's for, what goes on it, and what it looks like — got made on Monday and Tuesday, and the photography got shot on Wednesday. What's left is the build itself, on a stack I've used many times over. The scope is fixed on Monday: a marketing site of agreed pages, custom-designed, not a template.

Is it really custom, or a theme with my logo on it?

Custom. It's designed around your business and built from scratch, so the layout follows what you actually sell rather than whatever a template assumed. You get the source files at handover and you can take them anywhere.

What if I already have a website?

Then we either rebuild it properly or leave it alone, and we decide which on Monday. If your current site is fine and the real problem is brand and content, say so at the discovery session — I'd rather drop the site from the scope and price it down than build you something you didn't need.

What about domains and hosting?

The site goes live on your domain, in your account, in your name. Ongoing domain and hosting fees are yours and are not included in the price — they're usually modest, and I'll set it all up and show you where everything lives before I go.

Do I have to do the discovery session first?

Most people do, and it's the safer way in — $299, one hour, and it's how we work out whether a whirlwind is the right call at all. If you book a whirlwind off the back of it, that $299 comes off the total. If you already know you want the week, claim it straight from this page and we'll do the digging on Monday instead.

What does 'clear a week' actually mean?

You're needed properly on Monday (about half a day), all of Wednesday for the shoot, and an hour on Friday for handover. Tuesday and Thursday I'm heads-down building and you get on with your job. So: two big days and a coffee, not forty hours.

What if we don't get through everything?

Then I keep going until it's done, at no extra cost. The price is fixed on the scope we agree on Monday. If I've misjudged the week, that's mine to wear, not yours.

What kind of businesses is this for?

Any small business with something real to sell. Fifteen years of it sits behind this, across retail, trades, weddings, events and personal brands — the shape of the week is the same whichever one you are.

right then

Pick a week. Let's go.

Start with a discovery session. An hour, $299, and we'll know by the end of it whether a whirlwind is the right move — and it comes off the price if it is.
